Broken Planet Market
Broken Planet Market
Broken Planet Market, led by partners Lukas Zvinkas and Indre Narbutaite, used their spare time during Lockdown to become one of the UK’s fastest growing streetwear brands, they take their inspirations from American hip hop stars and outer space. In the short time they have been trading they have managed to surpass over 50,000 customers across the world. They have sustainability at the forefront of their brand which I believe adds to their success
Broken Planet Market focuses on oversized garments such as hoodies and joggies which have a graphic heavy focus. Their main inspirations come from figures such as Kanye West and Travis Scott, both who have a heavy influence in terms of street wear and fashion, especially in younger demographics.
When Broken Planet Market first started, they ordered only around 5 garment samples, which they then walked about the streets of London with whilst gathering people’s opinions on the brand, they took videos whilst doing this and posted them on their social media platforms such as Tik-Tok and Instagram which allowed them to expand their following on these platforms, having surpassed over 260k follwers on Instagram and nearly 300k on Tik-Tok
Their focus on sustainability is something that helps Broken Planet Market stand out from its competitors, Not only is their clothing its self sustainable but also the packaging, with all of their shipping bags being completely degradable, and even down to their shipping methods, they always opt for the most sustainable option.
Broken Planet Market has plans to further expand their product portfolio, and also introduce pop-up shops where customers can come shop in-person rather than through their website. In addition to all of this Broken Planet Market also have their own charity ‘Broken Planet Foundation’ which aims to help disadvantaged communities in the UK.
